Visitor Services Assistant (Cashier)

Your role in this adventure:
Visitor Services:
- Act as one of the first points of contact with visitors from around the world and provide outstanding customer service
- Greet each visitor in a helpful, professional, and friendly manner, take admission fees, record visitor statistics, and process sales through tills
- Act as the communications desk representative for all enquiries, first aid and emergency situations
- Provide knowledgeable information on gift shop merchandise and assist with gift shop maintenance by tidying and stocking merchandise
Team Collaboration:
- Contribute to a fun and positive workplace culture through collaborative interactions with coworkers and supervisors
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the facility is run smoothly, helping out where needed during peak busy times
- Assist with Special Events, including occasional off-site events as needed
Key Skills and Qualifications you bring to the team:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in a museum, cultural site, or retail setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions, operating point-of-sale systems, and managing financial transactions accurately
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic First Aid and CPR protocols is an asset
POSITION: FULL TIME SEASONAL
HOURS: 9: 45 am- 5:15 pm
TOTAL HOURS PER WEEK: 36.25HRS
